I'll admit it. I had no clue how to transport my two dogs and a cat.

A lifelong animal advocate, I chanced upon the pet transportation industry while working as a Marketing Director. Company headquarters was North Carolina, but I could work remotely which allowed for regular trips “home” to the West Coast. The biggest issue? Finding a reliable sitter or transport for my two dobermans and a cat.
So I decided to do the drive myself, and networked with rescue groups and  military families with PCS orders to fill the empty space in my vehicle. Referrals and demand for moving services quickly ballooned;  it has been my pleasure to personally deliver over 1,000 pets to their homes. Many miles and experiences later, I believe the best way to advance the pet transportation industry is to pivot PetMove from a service-based company to an online marketplace. Maintaining the PetMove promise for "safe, sanitary and speedy" pet transportation for every pet, every mile is the goal!
